EAF Congress 2026: Key Outcomes

Delegates from across Europe met in Geldermalsen for the first Congress of the European Airsoft Federation. The Congress marked the transition from initiative to institution and confirmed the shared direction of the Federation. The Congress addressed governance, finances, internal regulations, board matters and the future of European sport development. The Closing Statement 2026-2028 was adopted unanimously and sets the mandate for the next phase of EAF development. The EAF will focus on transparent governance, member communication, legal recognition of airsoft, competition frameworks, rule ownership, safety standards and a controlled sanctioning model for European events.

The European Airsoft Federation exists to strengthen the status, practice and recognition of airsoft throughout Europe. It promotes airsoft as both a sport and a responsible recreational activity, built on safety, sportsmanship, inclusion, cultural exchange and international cooperation. The EAF brings together national airsoft organizations to support the development of common standards, responsible governance, structured competition, grassroots growth and a cohesive European airsoft community.
