Financial Framework
The European Airsoft Federation operates as a not-for-profit federation of member organizations. Its financial framework is designed to support the Federation’s statutory objectives, including European cooperation, sport development, safety standards, recognition of airsoft and representation of member federations before authorities and stakeholders.
Sources of Funding
The EAF’s funding may consist of multiple sources: annual membership contributions, sponsorship or cooperation agreements with Associate Members, institutional subsidies and government programs where available and grants. Together, these sources help provide the Federation with the financial basis needed to operate professionally, support its members and develop European airsoft structures.
Membership fees provide the core financial foundation of the Federation. They are determined by Congress and are intended to cover essential organizational costs, such as administration, communication, governance, digital infrastructure and member support.
Sponsorship and cooperation with Associate Members may provide additional capacity for specific projects, events, communication tools, development programs and other initiatives. Such cooperation must always remain consistent with the EAF’s mission, independence and governance standards.
Institutional funding may be pursued to support the Federation’s objectives, including sport recognition and development, youth and community development, safety, education, international cooperation and responsible sport governance.

Governance and Accountability
The EAF’s finances are governed through its formal structure. The Executive Board prepares financial proposals, manages expenditure and reports to the member federations in Congress. Congress determines the annual membership contribution, approves budgets and reviews the financial accounts.
This framework ensures that financial decisions are taken transparently and in the interest of the Federation as a whole. Funding must support the long-term development of airsoft in Europe and may not compromise the independence, integrity or democratic governance of the EAF.
Sustainable Development
The EAF aims to build a stable and sustainable financial basis. Membership contributions provide continuity, while sponsorship and public funding can help accelerate specific projects. This balanced approach allows the Federation to grow responsibly, support its members and strengthen airsoft in Europe through Unity, Teamplay and Sport.
