What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is a dynamic shooting sport with a strong social and tactical character. Players use airsoft replicas to fire small bioplastic BBs in controlled environments, under strict safety rules and under the supervision of organisers or officials.
The most widely played format is field airsoft, often called Skirm or skirm, where two or more teams compete to complete objectives, capture positions, escort players, defend zones or carry out mission-based scenarios. Other disciplines focus on precision shooting, arena play, speed, structured competition or large-scale scenario events.
Airsoft is built on personal responsibility. Players are expected to respect the rules, acknowledge hits, follow instructions, and put safety first. This combination of discipline, teamwork and fair play is what makes airsoft a serious and developing sport across Europe.
