Safety Comes First
Airsoft can only develop as a recognised sport if it is played safely, responsibly and transparently. For that reason, safety is one of the central pillars of the European Airsoft Federation.
At EAF level, safety means more than protective equipment. It means clear rules, proper field organization, qualified officials, reliable chronograph procedures, appropriate eye protection, safe handling of airsoft replicas, and clear incident reporting. National rules may differ, but every EAF-sanctioned activity must meet a credible minimum safety baseline.
The EAF does not replace national legislation. Each member federation remains responsible for compliance with the laws and regulations of its own country. The EAF’s role is to support harmonisation, promote good practice, and help ensure that airsoft is presented to public authorities as a disciplined, organised and safe sport.
